About Our Stand
how we got started
Ooh La Lemon was founded in June 2018 by us, Katie and Hailey, two 12 year olds from Louisville, Kentucky. The journey started when we were 11 and entered into the non-profit program Lemonade Day, which teaches kids how to be entrepreneurs through running a lemonade stand. We loved the program, but would have never dreamed in a million years we would win the title of Lemonade Day National Entrepreneur of the Year in 2017! We knew that we loved working together as business partners, and decided to take our partnership to the next level and started Ooh La Lemon in July 2018! We are excited to be working together curating the trendiest fruit and fun products - perfect for your next lemonade stand!

what we’re up to now
In addition to our colorful stand, we are on a journey developing our business skills as teen entrepreneurs and sharing these skills with national audience and the media. We have had so many incredible opportunities over the last 3 years and it all started with a lemonade stand! For instance, our story has aired on The Today Show (twice), we have been interviewed by ForbesBooks, and we have spoken across the country on youth entrepreneurship issues. We are now offering “Send a Smile” gifts and Covid Care Packages to brighten up the days during this uncertain time!
We love speaking about raising money for charity, how we built our online store, and encouraging other teens to be entrepreneurs. Please contact us to discuss your opportunity!
